Hybrid inverters also referred to as hybrid on-grid inverters or off-grid battery inverters, combine two different components – a solar inverter and a battery inverter into a single piece of equipment. A hybrid inverter makes it possible to combine on-grid and off-grid solutions. You can draw down power both from the grid and from the PV power station. When necessary, a hybrid solar inverter switches from drawing down power from the public grid to a battery, which allows the supply of power to remain stable as a result.
