Unique Fronius PC board replacement process
The foundation of the unique PC board replacement process is laid as we develop our inverters, as PC boards can only be replaced if the device has been designed accordingly. This enables our Fronius Service Partners to provide the fastest inverter servicing on the market.
SnapINverter mounting system
The special feature in the design of our devices is that the connection compartment is separate from the power stage set compartment. They are installed separately. The connection area and all its cabling is fitted to the wall first. The power stage set compartment is fitted afterwards. The innovative SnapINverter mounting system makes installation and servicing extremely user-friendly. The inverter is simply placed in the wall bracket and then secured. It is not necessary to remove the entire inverter for servicing, just the power stage set compartment. All the cabling, settings and configurations remain in place.
Integrated WLAN interface
Simple, user-friendly system monitoring is very important to Fronius. With the Fronius Datamanager, we are the first inverter manufacturer to offer a WLAN interface in the inverter itself. The inverter is connected to the internet without additional cabling and grants you the perfect overview of how the PV system is operating.

Two long power cables and 1 communication cable for battery system connect to inverter
The energy meter is used for production, consumption or import/export monitoring, and for export limitation. The meter has high accuracy readings, and by a wide selection of current transformers (50A – 1000A)* supports residential and commercial installations.
The meter connects to the SolarEdge inverter or commercial gateway via RS485 Plug-in.

The SolarEdge Home Inline Meter features:
The DFS works according to standard international firefighter routines, resulting in valuable time being gained in case of a fire. This routine starts by shutting down all AC power in a house. As soon as this AC power is shut down, the DFS will automatically switch off and isolate all PV modules. Firefighters only have to follow their regular routine and do not have to waste valuable time eliminating the risk of the PV modules on the roof!
The DFS is powered by a motorized X-type switch and can therefore be located directly at the PV modules. This minimizes the amount of cabling with dangerous high voltage and leads to a completely powerless situation in the house, maximizing safety when needed.
A power down situation can occur at any time and for many reasons. The DFS has an auto reset function. The DFS automatically switches off if the regular AC power is down and automatically switches on when the regular AC power is on again. No manual reset is necessary every time the power has been down!
The DFS is equipped with the Santon X-type switch, which is the most popular DC switch for PV applications. The Santon ‘snap-action’ spring mechanism, with its response time of only 3 milliseconds, reduces the electric arc.
