This cable is designed for lighting applications in solar energy systems. (more applications will follow later). Energy consumption can be significantly reduced by the ability to dim lightingwhen needed. Lower power consumption will reduce the overall system cost. Also, theavailability of the lighting will increase, even in case of a partially chargedbattery in low sun. The cable connects the TX output of the VE.Direct connector of an MPPT 75/15or 100/15 with the PWM dimmer input of the LED driver.
The MPPT charge controller must have a software version 1:15 or higher.
A MPPT charge controller with an older software version can be updated for this.
